QuickWishlist

Weddings

Build a universal wedding registry
across multiple stores.

QuickWishlist currently charges nothing for a wedding registry that is not tied to one retailer. Add public product links from department stores, small brands, marketplaces, or independent makers, then share one registry link with your guests.

Why use a universal wedding registry

A retailer wedding registry may be limited to its own catalog or approved partners. A couple whose choices span different brands, countries, or price ranges may instead need links from multiple websites.

A universal wedding registry solves that problem. You keep the exact products you want, guests buy from the original store, and your registry reflects your real taste instead of retailer inventory.

How to create a wedding registry

  1. Create a wishlist named something clear like "Wedding registry."
  2. Add registry items from multiple stores. Paste public product links and QuickWishlist attempts to extract the name, displayed price, and image.
  3. Include different budgets. A good registry usually mixes accessible gifts with a few larger group-gift options.
  4. Use notes when context helps. Explain sizes, preferred colors, or contribution details for bigger gifts.
  5. Share the registry link on your wedding website or wherever you are collecting guest information.

Wedding registry FAQ

Can I use QuickWishlist as a universal wedding registry?

Yes. That is one of the main use cases. You can add wedding gifts from multiple stores and share one link with guests.

Do guests need to sign up?

No. Guests can open the registry link without creating an account.

Can I include a honeymoon fund?

QuickWishlist has no cash-fund or payment feature. You can link to a public external contribution page and explain it in the item notes, but all money handling occurs outside QuickWishlist.

Can guests mark gifts as claimed?

No. QuickWishlist does not provide gift claiming, purchase reservation, or duplicate-purchase prevention. Couples and guests must coordinate outside the application.

Is there a limit on wedding registry items?

The application does not configure an item-creation cap. The current reorder endpoint accepts at most 500 item identifiers per request, so reordering a larger registry is outside the current API contract.
