## Verified limits

### Wishlist and item counts

The application does not configure a creation cap for wishlists or items. The reorder endpoint accepts at most 500 item identifiers per request, so reordering lists above 500 items is outside the current API contract.

### Item fields

Product URLs are limited to 2,048 characters, item names to 255 characters, displayed prices to 100 characters, and notes to 5,000 characters.

### Product sources

Automatic fetching is limited to public HTTP or HTTPS hosts. Private, loopback, local, reserved, and unresolvable network destinations are not fetched.

### Extraction freshness

Product details are captured when an item is added and can be edited later. QuickWishlist does not continuously synchronize retailer prices, availability, or page content.

### Link visibility

Wishlist pages send a noindex directive, but this is not access control. Anyone with a wishlist URL can request the page.

## Product-data methodology

1. **URL safety check:** Before fetching a source page, QuickWishlist verifies that the destination uses HTTP or HTTPS and resolves only to public internet addresses.
2. **Deterministic extraction first:** The extractor checks page metadata such as JSON-LD, Open Graph, microdata, embedded application data, and visible product signals. It also contains targeted fallbacks for several common commerce platforms.
3. **Optional AI fallback:** If deterministic data is incomplete and an OpenAI API key is configured, selected page signals may be sent to OpenAI to supplement or recover product fields.
4. **Stored snapshot:** The selected name, displayed price, thumbnail, and original URL are stored with the wishlist item. They are a snapshot, not a live retailer feed.
5. **Owner review:** Owners can correct the stored name, displayed price, notes, and URL. Buyers should verify price, availability, shipping, and product details on the linked source page.

## Published evidence

- QuickWishlist does not publish customer counts, market share, extraction-accuracy percentages, ranking scores, or performance benchmarks.
- The site does not publish testimonials, awards, or comparative performance claims.
- Prices shown inside user wishlists are user-editable snapshots from linked pages, not audited market data.
